Napoleon Hill (1883–1970) was an American author who was one of the earliest producers of the modern genre ofpersonal-success literature.  He became the advisor to President Franklin D. Roosevelt from 1933-36. "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve" is one of Hill's hallmark expressions.  

Think and Grow Rich is a motivational personal development and self-help book written by Napoleon Hill and inspired by a suggestion by Scottish-American billionaire Andrew Carnegie. It was published in 1937 during the Great Depression.It remains the biggest seller of Napoleon Hill's books, selling a claimed 30 million copies over the next 70 years
